a) to collect data and information from organizations that can help provide a better understanding of how and, to what extent, the rise of direct-to-consumer delivery services has created opportunities and challenges for workers, communities, and consumers in urban, suburban, exurban and rural contexts, with emphasis on low/fixed-income, minority communities, individuals with disabilities, and the elderly;
b) to solicit from interested individuals, professionals, and organizations more detailed information on their experiences regarding opportunities and challenges posed by the exponential growth of e-commerce through participation in focus groups, interviews, and peer exchange forums.
